My friend Dalton Ott over at Serious Male Bondage has posted a great article on the Serious Male Bondage Journal about men’s motives and desires to be bound by other men. He does a very well job defining many of the reasons why I generally prefer to be tied up by guys vs. girls. Power exchange, enforced isolation, and defenseless intimacy are only some of the things he mentions that I must agree with.
In my career, I have to be very dominant most of the time. Directing mostly male engineers with $100,000 egos requires that kind of attitude to be successful. But when I get home at the end of the day, I would rather be attacked my group of bondage buddies, stripped out of my suit and forced to put on one of my skin tight body suits, get tied down to my bed in an tight and inescapable spreadeagle, and left there for a few hours while my friends casually sit around and do erotic things to my body as we chat about the crazy things going on in our lives. I’m much more comfortable sharing some of my more intimate feelings with these guys when I’m tied down like this. Not sure why that is, but I’ve learned that I don’t really care. I feel empowered to be intimate when I’m in inescapable bondage like this. That’s why I crave bondage. It gives me a break from the real world, and let’s me be who I really want to be without having to worry about jockeying for position with other Alpha Males who surround me in my real world.

Two years since your last escape? Are you getting lazy, or just too distracted?
I read the article and very well done. I, myself, don’t mind being tied up if it is a challenge that I feel I can win, and a situation I feel comfortable in. I am not in the sexual pleasures of the escape, but in the accomplishment that I did something some other people might not have been able to. I typically like a wager on the escape. I haven’t done too many escapes in the past two years due to work, but my competitiveness still thinks of escape ideas… like can you escape a spandex / lycra strait jacket? (that is what lead me to Trapper’s site). Now, the escapes that Trapper has tried, does seem like there is no hope on escape.
I am hoping he posts some escape attempts that he did escape from.
I used to be really good at these bondage escape attempts, but over the past couple of years the guys tying me up have really stepped up their game. The last time I escaped from bondage was over two years ago (which happens to be the hardest tie I’ve ever escaped from!).
Jut last weekend, I spent an entire day doing bondage escape attempts with a friend of mine. He managed to escape from one of my ties after an hour of teasing. However, I never managed to escape once. I tried using my tightest and slipperiest suit to my advantage, but he’s just too good with his ropes. And then we tried to see what would happen if he tied me to his bed without one of my suits on. The result was the same, except with a much happier ending (two hours later…).
